As a life-long animal, snow, and travel lover, I have dreamed of dog-sledding since I was in third grade. My expectations going in were admittedly high. My boyfriend and I searched all around Quebec for the best company to sled and stay with and, after our trip in January, I truly believe we found it. We did a 24 hour experience that involved meals and lodging as well as two trips out on the sled. Both of our guides were so sweet and clearly loved their jobs and the animals they led. The food, made fresh by the woman running the lodge, was delicious. She even catered diligently to my vegetarianism. They had great beers and hot wine for purchase and the small cabin we stayed in was adorable, comfortable, and surprisingly warm. I fell in love with Quebec even more while staying at this place. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Yes, it is quite pricey. However, I have ZERO regrets about the money we spent. A lovely team of employees working with some beautiful animals to create a magical experience for their guests. HIGHLY recommend.
